The literal translation of Sultana Haque’s name is “Queen of Justice” (Sultana means “Queen” and Haque means “Justice”), so it was almost pre-destined she would grow up to become an attorney and help others find justice through the law. In fact, her mission in establishing Sultana Law, P.A. was to help people who might otherwise find the legal process to be inaccessible.
As any of her clients or staff could tell you, one of the first statements Sultana jokingly makes to all new clients when they meet with her is: “You’ll see my degrees on the wall over there, so you can rest-assured I am a qualified lawyer. Now, there is no need for me to speak “legalese” to impress you with my qualifications.” She then focuses on listening carefully and finding the best solution suitable for each client’s particular needs.
Throughout her career, Sultana has helped her clients resolve a variety of legal issues, from keeping them in their homes following a foreclosure action or bankruptcy to negotiating a key contractual agreement to helping them start exciting new businesses. Sultana knows a day in the life of her practice could be a life-changing event for her clients, and she is honored to represent and advocate for them.
Sultana is a member in good standing of The Florida Bar, New York Bar, and Orange County Bar Association. She is active in the Orange County legal community. Presently, she serves as a judge and jury advisor for Orange County Teen Court. She also sits on the Board of Directors of Central Florida Women’s Resource Center.
Sultana was born and raised in the Hague, the Netherlands, and speaks Dutch fluently. When she is not serving her clients, Sultana enjoys traveling and spending time in the company of good friends, family and her two dogs, Bella and Capone.
